Micheal Jackson, the "King of Pop", moved the world with his songs. "Man in the Mirror" inspired people to look after their neighbor. "Smooth Criminal" let people tap into their dangerous side. His music videos were a concoction of amazing dance and cinematic. Micheal Jackson inspires me to be ICONIC.

New Edition
I was introduced to New Edition in elementary school. Every year the music department would put on a decades musical, showcasing the hit artists and their songs. New Edition's music introduced me to R&B. I loved how the rhythm was thick and rich with style. My favorite song is "Mr. Telephone Man". New Edition introduced me to a style of music that has become a big part of my music production.
Tori Kelly
Tori Kelly is an artist that has inspired me greatly not for her music but mostly her story. Tori Kelly(full name Victoria Loren Kelly) was a singing sensation even when she was a child. Having been on multiple singing competitions Kelly had shown her talent. In 2012, she independently released her first EP, Handmade Songs by Tori Kelly, that she produced, wrote, and mixed herself. What really made me respect her was the fact that she took some time from music to get her education and go to college. Now an adult Tori Kelly is one of the top artists of her generation.

Les Paul
Les Paul was an amazing musician and inventor that never accepted no for an answer and was determined to knock down any obstacle that stood in his way. As a musician he played not only to the masses with his country music hits he also influenced the jazz scene. As an inventor Paul created the electric guitar, multi-recording, and most of the music production terms used today. With songs like “How High the Moon” and “Lover(When You’re Near Me)” Paul and his wife Mary Ford shaped the music scene in the 1960s Les Paul's forward thinking and musical talents opened the door to influence the masses and his inventions are what influenced the world. Les Paul chased music until the day he died and in the process changed its whole meaning.
